This lovely young lady had an absent breast on right side due to a rare genetic condition called Poland’s syndrome. Multi-stage surgeries were carried out to reconstruct the right breast. The first two surgeries involved fat injections to the right side to create a small breast mound. Her own fat, from the stomach and thigh region, was used. The extra fat from these areas was removed with liposuction and then processed/purified. This purified fat was then injected under the skin on the right chest to create the small breast mound. The third and final surgery involved a silicone implant, placed on the right side and thereafter, the left breast was reduced and lifted to match the right side for symmetry….She is delighted with the result!
