lip enhancement or plumping can be done by fat or filler injection. Fat has the advantage of being permanent in majority of patients and giving a more smoother and natural result. Filler injection on the other hand needs to be repeated every 6-9 months. However filler injection can be given in doctors office ( lunch time procedure ) and causes less swelling and bruising compared to fat injection.
